We have a date - 2nd May

But you can officially hate Fascination records for this. The single which was supposed to be out on the 26th of April is now going to be out on the 2nd of May. And their only reason for this push back is probably "just because..."
Sophie rightly said it in the Digital Spy interview. Making the music is her job. Deciding the dates is the label's job. Which means Fascination is to blame for EVERY SINGLE DELAY! Rot in hell you f***ers.
On the bright side, we finally have a date! Bittersweet will hit the radio in a couple of weeks (my guess - 2nd week of March).
Keep your eyes peeled!

lol as if this is really surprising! what can you expect from a bunch of losers other than this! I wont find it weird if they even pushed it till summer lol that way they will say that it will be a summer anthem and it's closer to autumn which comes back to the fans idea of reducing the time between the album and the single! I really wonder why cant Sophie just change labels?!

Well, actually, Fascination only delayed the release of the single one week, so, there's not much difference between the 26th April and the 2nd May.... I'm going to buy the single anyway, so. ^^

It's always baffled me as to why record labels release singles for purchase so long after the song hits radio. I mean, it's likely that people could lose interest in the song if its only availabe two months after they hear it! Why wouldn't you capitalise on a potential hit early on...?

Meh, thinking about these things makes my head hurt :P

it's probably that way, Mathew, cos they let the song get as much airplay as it can get. The more you listen to it on the radio, the more you like it and want to buy it. 2 months is normal. It's going to hit itunes sooner anyway, so i'm not too worried...

Yeah you have a point kaushik, familiarity with a song means you're more likely to purchase it. Anyway, it's good to have a date and can't wait till it's out!

Yes - though I believe there was more for Sophie to say about it all back in 2007 and early 2008. Anyway - love the 'rot in hell' part, that´s hilarious (but true - no matter how bad that sounds).

It's true though. Fascination can be really annoying with all their artists. They've screwed up a lot of Girls Aloud releases too
