Freemasons, Junior Caldera...and an album after that?!

Well, rumours have been confirmed by Freemasons. They are, in fact, releasing HMMAD. Actually they're releasing a whole new version. Apparantly, the song we all have with us is just a rough demo. In my opinion, the version we have is probably the final version which was supposed to make it to Sophie's GH album. But since its been out for so long now, they probably decided to tweak the song and release it. It makes complete sense to me that they're revamping the song...

Junior Caldera's collaboration with Sophie is out sometime in March, at least thats what the rumours say. Junior hasn't confirmed this yet, so i don't know if its true or not. But a studio (HQ) version of the song has leaked, and you will find it in all obvious places on the internet, i'm not posting the link here, cos i want to support both JC and SEB for the sales. JC has a single out called "The Way", you can listen to it on his myspace. Its a wonderful song. JC has been popularised by his song "Sleeping Satellite". His album "Debut" will be out sometime this year, make sure you get your copy..

Synchronised, which was added to the office playlist at Fascination, is a song co-written with Ina Wroldsen who has also penned songs for Kat DeLuna, The Pussycat Dolls, Lindsay Lohan, Hayden Pannetiere and The Saturdays... (according to Kaz, where did you get this info from Kaz??)

Rumours about HMMAD and OAO making are turning true. But thankfully, Calvin won't be releasing OAO on his album (according to Kaz).

That only means there still are slight chances of this song making it onto Sophie's album... only time will tell. Lets just hope for the best..

Sophie Ellis-Bextor ft. Junior Caldera - Can't Fight This Feeling

Thanks to Kaz
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v6Q6z2grdY

The original version of CANT FIGHT THIS FEELING is out on youtube. Sophie sounds brilliant. Can't wait for the single to come out, its supposed to come out sometime in March. Sophie's own single is probably out sometime in June/July/Aug. In the meantime, she's got this song and the Freemasons single to hype her.. This is a solid dance song. Junior Caldera has done a really good job on the song!

Here are the lyrics:

Standing in a crowded room
But all I see is you
Like a spotlight follows where you are

Do you know I never want to leave your side
Desire swallows up my pride
I can't say no, I want you,
So I've got to see this through

'Cos I just can't fight this feeling
We should be lovers. We should be lovers
No I just can't fight this feeling
We should be lovers. We should be lovers
Now I just can't fight this feeling
My head is spinning. I think its winning
Now I just can't fight this feeling
And it's beating me down

Falling on you took a moment
Your kiss charged my heart
Just a touch could never be enough

Do you I know I'm overboard and can't be saved?
I pray the night time makes me brave
I have to show I want you
So I've got to get to you

'Cos I just can't fight this feeling
We should be lovers. We should be lovers
No I just can't fight this feeling
We should be lovers. We should be lovers
Now I just can't fight this feeling
My head is spinning. I think its winning
Now I just can't fight this feeling
And it's beating me down

Why don't you, why don't you,
Why don't you come to me?
Why don't you, why don't you
Why don't you come to me?

Synchronized + HMMAD Release by Freemasons!

What would you do if i told you Fascination added a song called "Synchronized" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor on their office playlist?? I don't know if i should be excited or not. She just delivered a baby, and that might mean her music could come out earlier than scheduled, but with Sophie (i regret to say) its always a little sudden... I really wish this is a confirmed song title on the album and i wish we get a preview of the album soon. Its been really long.

In other news, Freemasons announced that Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer will be their next single. And they apparantly confirmed it on their Facebook page. I'm probably the only fan who is unhappy about this, because i fear that this song won't make it to the final cut of the album. There were rumours all these days, but now it seems like its the truth. That means Off & On will get rejected again, maybe Calvin will feature it on his album. Oh god, what a waste of two amazing songs!! She's crazy to reject these two songs.

If Freemasons are releasing this song as a single, i really hope they shoot the video with Sophie. Its a Sophie song, they just produced it, now they're releasing it under their name!!! I'm so upset!

Nonetheless, i'm still looking forward to album #4. When are we going to get a sneak peak Soph??

Sophie is already planning for more babies!!

British singer SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR is already planning more children - just days after giving birth to her second son KIT VALENTINE.
The Murder On The Dancefloor hitmaker welcomed the tot nine weeks early on 7 February (09).
It is the second child for the singer and her rocker husband Richard Jones, who are also parents to a four-year-old boy named Sonny.
And Ellis-Bextor admits they have already discussed expanding their brood.
She says, "We haven't really got a plan to have more but they're very addictive. I'd like another one and then I don't know. I've always liked the idea of of quite a few, so definitely three and maybe an accident after that!"
Sophie - whose first child, Sonny, is now four - refused to tell anyone the names she and Richard had earmarked for Kit, because they didn't want their final decision to be influenced by anyone else.
She explained: "I had my names all set but didn't tell anyone because otherwise everyone goes, 'Oh I went to school with someone called Ann and I didn't get on with her.' "

a bit more from her pregnancy blog (pre delivery)

After a really lovely and relaxing Christmas and New Year, Richard and I have been keeping busy to stave off the doom and gloom of January. We went to the Revolutionary Road premiere and we both though the film was fantastic. Heartwrenching, but great.I also attended the South Bank Show Awards at the Dorchester Hotel in London with my friend Ruth who I've been friends with since school. It's always a very glam event attended by a diverse mix of people from different ends of the cultural spectrum.I chose my outfit carefully so I didn't feel like a pregnant frump! I wore a vintage dress with some bright orange heels and a flash of red lipstick and had a good time.I've been seeing lots of friends and been a to a few gigs too. When everyone else is drinking I've been experimenting with different soft drinks and sparkling juice drink Shloer is a delicious choice.I'm now six months pregnant and in terms of my wellbeing and beauty routine I haven't made any drastic changes. I have to say I'm rubbish at beauty treatments.I do spend time on basic skin care but aside from that I don't really do anything else; I don't believe that there is a cream in the land that can stop you getting stretch marks because I think they are hereditary.I'm still going to the gym three times a week and working with my usual trainer to do a modified version of my routine.

Heart-rate
I know lots of women enjoy swimming when they are pregnant but I prefer aerobic exercise where I can really get my heart-rate up and feel like I'm making a difference. My bump is definitely in full swell now! So far I've put on about a stone and a half which is pretty normal for my height.I do have moments when I feel enormous but generally I'm pretty good at accepting that some extra curves are a necessary part of pregnancy.Emotionally I feel quite steady at the moment. Up to about 14 weeks I was very up and down as I changed from a lady who wasn't pregnant to one who was.

Mood
I was in a really bad mood for about a fortnight and felt like I had permanent road rage!At the moment I'm sleeping fine, which I'm thankful for, and my energy levels are still high. This baby is very kicky but it's reassuring, letting me know it's there and all is well! When the new baby arrives I am thoroughly intending on breast-feeding.I am a real advocate of breast feeding and I can't believe the furore over the breast feeding pictures on Facebook. When I had Sonny I didn't care where I was, feeding him was my main priority.I definitely don't feel the need to squirrel myself away in a private room.Women feel under enough pressure with a new born baby without feeling that breast feeding their baby is inappropriate.Having said that I do understand it's not for everyone and it's more important to have a happy mother who isn't breastfeeding than an unhappy one who is finding it difficult. It's not like you can walk into a room of adults and immediately tell who was breast or bottle fed as a baby!I'm really enjoying being pregnant and am in no hurry for it be over, except for the fact I am so excited about meeting the new addition to our family. That's all for now, I'll be back in March with my next update.

Sophie's statement post delivery...

It’s been a dramatic few days. Following a diagnosis of pre-eclampsia last Monday I was admitted to hospital. After a few days of close observation the decision was made to deliver my baby.
And on Saturday 7th February, just after midday, little Kit Valentine Jones made his entrance into the world. He is tiny but adorable and Sonny, Richard and I are thrilled to meet him. He’s doing really well and we hope to have him home around the time he was due, early April. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital where the staff have been amazing, again. It’s the same place I had Sonny nearly five years ago. The whole family is enjoying time with our newest member.

theaudience - You Will Do For Now

I made an edited version of the song, cos the beginning on the original was a weird. The one i made sounds alright. So here you go - http://www.zshare.net/audio/55224049c6584200/

He was seen on Saturday
Gladly being led astray
When he's giving evidence
He is pleading innocence
Met the next one in a club
Clinging hips and overdub
We got friendly in his car
Red leather interior

I'll be there
Inside your place
If you've got style
Then I've got taste
I'm in love
With both of the above
So take a bow
Cos you will do for now

He was starting to assume
Every girl would give him room
I gave him some honesty
You were just accessory
Met the next one in a bar
Admiration from afar
I told him to concentrate
This is far too easy

I'll be there
Inside your place
If you've got style
Then I've got taste
I'm in love
With both of the above
So take a bow
Cos you will do for now

Kit Valentine Jones, Sophie's 2nd child!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has given birth to a baby son nine weeks ahead of his due date!!!

The singer and model, 29, suffered from potentially deadly pre-eclampsia as Kit Valentine was born nine weeks early, according to The Metro. Kit Valentine was delivered via emergency cesearean section at the Portland Hospital in London on February 7, although the news was only confirmed today by her mother, former "Blue Peter" presenter Janet Ellis. The boy becomes the second child for the singer and her husband, Richard Jones from The Feeling, although the delivery was not without complications.

This is the second pregnancy drama for Sophie and her husband - The Feeling bassist Richard Jones. Doctors had to perform an emergency caesarean to deliver her second son, named Kit Valentine Jones, who weighed 2lb 10z. He was immediately placed in an incubator. Sophie had been diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, which in severe cases can cause the death of the mother and unborn baby.

Richard’s pal Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer of The Feeling, confirmed the early arrival at last night’s Elle Style Awards. He told how the band would be going into the studio soon but he wasn’t sure when because of the happy news. He said: “Richard and Sophie had their second baby on Saturday. I’m not sure I’m supposed to let that slip.” Details of Kit's dramatic arrival were revealed on BBC Breakfast yesterday by his grandmother, who let the news slip as she was discussing the role of grandparents. Janet, 53, said: "Sophie's just had her second little boy. He was early, nine weeks early, but he is doing fine. He is doing very well."

Outside the couple's West London home yesterday, Richard, 29, said: "I'd be lying if I said it wasn't stressful. It has been dramatic, but we are very happy. We are a lot calmer this time because we have been through it all before. I'm pretty tired, I've been all my time at the hospital and I've just come home to get some stuff. It has been hard, but it's been helped because Sonny has been amazing, even though it's been so tough."

The pair already have a four-year-old boy, Sonny, who also arrived prematurely. He was born at 28 weeks and spent five weeks in hospital. Her first son, 4 ½-year-old Sonny, was delivered eight weeks prematurely in April 2004 via emergency cesarean, after the 29-year-old songstress developed the life-threatening condition pre-eclampsia.

Doctors remain confident he will be fine despite arriving after just 30 weeks. Professor James Walker, spokesman for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, said: "The may need some help breathing - with an oxygen head box - and also maintaining its temperature. When he gets to about 5lbs he should be allowed to go home but that could take between six to eight weeks. He'll need to stay in hospital until then, until he's stronger. But it depends on the baby and how quickly they put on weight."

The singer's agent, Sundraj Srinivasan, issued a statement on behalf of the couple on Tuesday. He said: "Sophie Ellis Bextor and Richard Jones welcomed the latest addition to their family on Saturday February 7th.The happy couple have named their boy Kit Valentine Jones. Both mother and baby are doing well."
