I'll start. She did a photoshoot on Saturday:
"Just finished photo shoot for cover of Turkish Harper's Bazaar. Worth working on a Saturday for."

I just came back from Sophie's concert. I flew to Abu Dhabi just to watch her and it was totally worth it, 50 min of pure joy! I will write a review to share with all of you the information about this concert! Will post it tomorrow :D

bit of a pointless interview over the SEB Official:

Wextor asks - As your tour is about to kick off soon, I'd like to know if your fans can expect a new DVD from this tour? Watch My Lips is an amazing DVD!

SEB: Thank you. No DVD is planned for this tour but I might bring a crew out to film our Moscow show - it's the biggest date of the tour and such a fascinating city. I would quite like a little memento of that night.

KingRefusenik asks – What is your favourite lyric you have ever written and why? PLEASE come to glasgow! x

SEB: I think I am proudest of the lyrics for Today the Sun's on Us. I am the person in that song sometimes - I struggle to be truly relaxed and happy when life is good - I feel like something has to go wrong. I have to remind myself to enjoy the moment before it goes.

Newdoberman asks - Hi Sophie. David from Ireland here. Saw you at the Milk Festival. Had a great time. Did you enjoy it? Just wondering did you hear that Murder on the Dancefloor was used in the Eastenders episode where the Queen Vic burned down. Just before the fire started you were singing "Gonna burn this goddamn house right down". Quite the honour that you signalled the end of the Queen Vic.

SEB: Wow yes. Thank you for pointing that out - I had no idea. I used to watch lots of Eastenders and I remember when I heard my first band Theaudience, being played in the show - it was a bit of an 'I’ve made it' moment!

Anouk asks - Hello Sophie, just wondering. How was it like to work with Armin van Buuren, because the genre of his music is quite different? Xx

SEB: Fun! I love trying out new things. Armin's sound is different but he's at the top of his game and I think what makes his stuff special is that it crosses over. I love the track we did together and I am not a trance kid. That’s what sets him apart I guess - he is informed by different genres while he plays what he plays.

Chris_Sydney asks - Hello Sophie from sunny Sydney! I always look forward to your single releases because they are usually jam-packed with remixes. (I remember importing the German editions back in the early days because they often had more than the local releases!) Do you have a favourite remix of one of your songs? Love to you, as always.x

SEB: Hello chris! I am jealous of your sun. My favourite remix was an early one - jewels and stone remix of Take Me Home.

My personal review of Sophie's concert in Abu Dhabi:

Well, I’ll just be brief about my “journey” hehe I flew myself to Abu Dhabi on the same day of the concert, went and bought a videocam just to record the concert and share it with all of you, and when I got to the beach where it was being held, the security b*tches didn’t let me take my cam with me. So I had to go back to where I was staying, leave it there and go back to the concert! (I could have saved that amount for something else :S). I took my small smart phone with me, and recorded the whole concert, but unfortunately, it doesn’t have a zoom option, so even though I was close to the stage, I couldn’t have close ups shot at Sophie and the sound is so terrible because of the very strong bass effect.

Anyway, here are some info about the concert: it took place at the beach side, on the Abu Dhabi Corniche. As this Emirate is hosting the Formula 1 Grand Prix, they are doing a lot of music festivities, one of them called Beats on Beach, from Nov. 10th till Nov. 14th and featuring a great line up of artists, some of them international like our dear Sophie! And by the way, all those concerts are free, so you can imagine the number of people attending! Sophie’s concert was scheduled to start at 9:10 p.m. and it did start exactly at that time. Here are the songs that she performed:

1- Dial My Number
2- Bittersweet
3- Take Me Home
4- Not Giving Up On Love
5- Catch You
6- Starlight
7- Murder On The Dancefloor
8- Revolution
9- Get Over You
10- Groovejet
11- Heartbreak

Before showing on stage, there was like this very “fairy tailish” kind of music to introduce Sophie, just music with no lyrics, and right afterwards, Dial My Number started, I don’t think it’s part of the song, but I sure do hope that it is. I think it is the same one that was played at the beginning at the I-tunes festival.
Sophie was absolutely amazing on vocals on all of the songs, seeing her live is quite amazing. She’s full of energy as usual, needless to say that she was looking stunning. Sophie felt that the crowd was very energetic as well and regretted why she didn’t come here earlier and promised to come back very soon! (Yeeeeeey, I’ll get to see her again soon). She is also performing tonight at some Gala Dinner (“The Ball”), which I really wanted to attend, but it’s somehow expensive, and I don’t think she’ll be performing more than 3 songs as there are a lot of other artists to perform!

But let me clear something up as I think it’s totally funny and unfortunate at the same time. Our dear Sophie is known just by some few people in the Middle-East, in other words, not a big true dedicated fan base! As the concert was free, a lot of people attended. Moreover, most of the crowd were men and Sophie was looking so hot with a very short dress and doing some very sexy moves on stage as part of the performance, but the men who even don’t know who the hell she is, they were crazy about her! I was there at the band performing just before Sophie, it was a rock band with a man as a lead singer, no one cared, and there was plenty of space to get closer to the stage which I did. But when it was Sophie’s turn, all men were pushing towards the stage, they couldn’t get enough of watching Sophie. One fact to prove what I am saying. When she felt this strong energy from the crowd (which was not because of the songs but because of her), she wanted to make the crowd sing with her, and what’s easier than to make them sing with her on “Murder On The Dance floor”, but guess what, no one knew the lyrics of the song! That’s why she had another attempt with “ Get Over You” as she asked them to sing the part of “Ay Ya Ya Yay” and it worked well for her (she commented saying, well I totally underestimated this song/crowd, am not sure what she said), all of the crowd were singing that part of the song.

Personally, and although I am very selective at watching live concerts, I am so happy I saw Sophie live! It was totally worth it. When the concert ended, I just tried to find a way to go backstage, just to try and see Sophie close or try and talk to her, but of course, security was all over the place and are not very helpful to inform you about the celebrities’ exit way! I just had to be satisfied from meeting Sophie in my dreams at night :D
