Not sure if this is old or new, but that is Alex James with Sophie. Alex is from Blur (for those of you who don't know) and he worked with Sophie on Shoot From The Hip. Do we see them collaborating again? I hope so...
If I remember correctly that pic is from the end of 2008, when she was pregnant with Kit... So I guess it's a bit old. Nevertheless, a collaboration between the two would be great. I think Sophie's vocals really suit the type of music he makes.
Ooh yes another collaboration with Alex James is always welcome! But Sophie is doing a disco album this time. So its going to be strictly no indie. Maybe the 5th album... :)
You mean collaborating like a duet? Kylie's got about the same producers as Sophie's got and I don't think their voices would compliment each others. Sophie should only duet with men. Hearing Boots' Symmetry I think a duet with Phil Oakey would be brilliant, or a duet with Bernard Sumner. She should do a cover of True Faith!!!
I wish Sophie would also work with Heartbreak. They often have a dark, electronic italo-disco sound. Or with Timo Kaukolampi (something similar to Annie's Marie Cherie or Take You Home).
Her collaboration with PSB is probably never going to come out unfortunately... I think Sophie has always wanted to duet with a lady. Thats why i suggested them... I'm waiting for Sophie's version of Revenge. I have a strong feeling it will end up on her GH bonus disc.. Sophie should do a cover of Madonna's Frozen. It would suit her voice perfectly... And Jewels & Stone should produce it
I really do not think the Pet Shop Boys are that fond of Sophie. I went to see them live the 14th of this month and i also got to meet them because i bought the meet and greet thing and i asked them if they would ever collaborate with Sophie and they said they had sent her some things but they said she was not to keen on what they had sent over and then Chris said it did not matter anyway because she was to tall lol. Then we started talking about Kylie and then Chris was like now Kylie is the right size for us lol. They were both some silly bitches. That whole conversation will probably be the highlight of my life, no joke. Sorry for the long post.
Really!? I find that a little stupid, don't you!? Sophie was never "not keen" on the track. They sent her the track really late. And she had the final list ready by then. It really is their fault
I just thought it was kind of funny. I did not even know they had sent her anything so i was shocked when they said they did. (And i call myself a Sophie fan lol) It was all really in a joking manner though, i think they just believed she did not like the track(s). :|
No i think he is right. Sophie would have probably liked the track if they sent in the track a little earlier. As far as i remember reading, she was done with the album and they sent her the track much later. It was supposed to be on the album. But i'm not sure if the track went beyond the demo stage at all
